5. Paint Chip Cutting
We love paint chips around here because they are so colorful, and best of all- FREE! Next time you’re at the home improvement store, grab a handful and let the kisd practice cutting on the lines and separating colors. Be sure to save the remnants for some cool crafts!

6. Feather Craft
This feather craft is another great activity for developing bilateral coordination and learning to start and stop scissor movement, as kids try to avoid cutting through the entire feather! Create some feather outlines out of construction paper and then lightly draw lines for where to cut the “fringe” of each feather. If you have older children, they can probably do this craft without the lines, but younger children could use the help. This would be a great craft during the Fall!
