4. Make Homemade Ice Cream
Eating cold treats is always fun during the summer. For a fun educational way to eat ice cream, make home made ice cream with your kiddos. You won’t need a fancy ice cream maker for this version, which is even better for your kids to join in on the fun because they can help with the whole process. All you have to do is fill up the bag with all the ingredients, shake the bag, then eat the ice cream! Yummy!

5. Make Cardboard Cars
If it’s too hot to play outside, let your kids watch a movie inside while sitting in these adorable cardboard cars. Your kids can help you make these fun cars, then let them sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Pop them some popcorn, bring them some drinks and let them have a movie night during the day.

6. Lawn Art
Painting is always fun for kids, but it’s always a little stressful as a mom watching your kids make a mess with the paint. However, if you let your kids paint outside on the lawn they can make as much of a mess as they want. Lay out a light colored sheet on the grass, then put the paint in some containers and let your kids paint to their heart’s content.
