1. Cable TV
Have you ever paid attention to how much money you are spend on cable TV every month? Most people spend around $100 a month. That’s $1,200 a year! At the very least, try to drop your cable plan to a cheaper plan, or even better, cancel your cable completely. You’d be surprised to find that you’ll hardly even miss it. My husband and I haven’t had cable now for over a year and not only are we saving money, we spend less time watching TV, which is always a plus! Instead of cable, purchase programs like Netflix and Hulu so you can still watch some of your favorite shows and movies for way less cost. Each only costs about $8 a month. The best part is that you can try both programs for free for a few weeks before committing to purchasing them so you know if you like them or not.
