7. Write Your Birth Plan
Sit down and pull out the birth plan from your hospital/doctors office and fill it out. If you are not sure exactly what to include, call up some girl friends for advice and ask your doctor what options are available to you. This will help you feel more prepared as you get ready for labor.
8. Capture Your Baby Bump
It doesn’t matter if its a professional maternity session or just a quick selfie at home, capture the last weeks and days with your bump. You may not feel much like taking photos, but it’s so fun to look back at the moments right before you brought a sweet little life into the world and everything changed.
9. Hire A Professional Cleaner
While we were in the hospital after having my daughter my Mom had cleaned our whole apartment, washed and cleaned our sheets and even picked up a few homey essentials only moms think about. The absolute best part about coming home was that it was clean and tidy, and we even got to sleep in freshly laundered sheets. That and the fact we got to bring our brand new baby home with us. This time around I’m definitely hiring a professional cleaner to come in and do a deep scrub right before, as I know I certainly wont be feeling like it once I’m home.
