One of the worst things about summer is that when you’re sitting out in the heat while your kids play all you want is a nice bowl of ice cream to help keep you a little cool. Unfortunately when you’re trying to be healthy, this isn’t always the best option to snack on. Thankfully, there are some wonderful, healthy, frozen desserts that you can enjoy this summer to help keep you cool in the heat. You’ll be able to enjoy a tasty treat while feeling guilt free as you eat all of these 12 yummy treats.
1. Two Ingredient Pineapple Whip
Everyone loves a good pineapple whip, especially if its from good old Disneyland or even the Dole Plantation in Hawaii. However, those tasty treats definitely are not healthy and impossible to get your hands on. Well, now you can make your very own pineapple whip with only two healthy ingredients: frozen pineapple and coconut milk. It doesn’t get much more simple than that. Just blend the 2 ingredients together then pop it in the freezer!

2. Frozen Yogurt Covered Strawberries
This is another incredibly easy, yet tasty dessert. The best part is that it, too, only requires two ingredients: greek yogurt and strawberries. You can choose whatever flavor yogurt you’d like to compliment your strawberries. Then wash the strawberries, dry them, dip them in the yogurt and place them on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. Once you do all that they are ready to throw in the freezer until ready to eat.

3. Pumpkin Ice Cream
It may not look or feel like fall outside, but if you’re a true pumpkin lover it doesn’t matter what time of year it is, you can always eat pumpkin flavored anything. This delicious treat may not be your go to choice during the summer heat, but it’s a nice alternative to the traditional summer fruit flavored treats. This recipe also is incredibly easy since all you have to do is throw the ingredients into the blender then freeze. It’s a great healthy treat option because it’s made of pumpkin, coconut milk, almond butter, pumpkin pie spice, and liquid stevia if you choose. Yum!
