As a mom, no one appreciates the art of a good hair style more than me. Whether it’s hiding 4-day old, unwashed hair or just a plain bad hair day, a styling ‘do can make you feel pulled together when everything else feels out of sorts. My top two styles have always been a braid or bun because they really conceal flyaways, greasy roots and tangles. The newest hair trend on the block just happens to be the braided top knot and I couldn’t be happier. Combining my two fav styles? Sign me up! Here’s a few of some amazing braided top knots that will keep you feeling beautiful.

1. Mohawk Braid Top Knot

This braided top knot is as simple as they come. Section off the top part of your hair and make a dutch or french braid, and tie off with a rubber band. Then just make the tail into a bun and you’re set. You can wear the rest of your hair down or curl for a more dressed up feel. I’ll definitely be trying this style this weekend!
