3. Conduct a Working Interview
You may love your babysitter but if your kids don’t, it’s going to make for a long night away from them. Granted, some kids may not like the idea of you leaving in general, but they should at least get along with their sitter. When you interview your potential candidates, make sure the kids are around and can interact. If comfortable, you can choose to step out of the room or leave for 15 minutes. Check in with both the candidate and your kids after to see how it went.
