Every time I reach into my purse for a pen, I inevitably pull out a crayon instead. Nothing says “mom of 4 kids” like a stash of crayons at the bottom of your purse. I feel like everywhere I go, I leave a trail of crayons behind me.
So, what can you and your kids do with the endless supply of crayons beside color endless coloring sheets?
Here are 7 creative crafts with crayons that’ll help you see the colored wax in a whole new way.

1. Melted Crayon Canvas
All you need for this colorful canvas is crayons, hot glue, and a hair dryer. Hot glue the crayons to the top of the canvas in the color scheme that you prefer. With a hair dryer (and preferably outside in the sun), melt the crayons until they begin to melt and drip down the canvas. This craft has been the subject of many “pinterest fails” but I still say you should give it a shot!
