7. Make Frozen Teething Pacifiers
Babies are the cutest things in the world…until they start to teethe. Then they turn into some sort of monster that you’ve never met before. Teething can be really hard on babies, and parents, too. To help ease the pain in their little mouths, make some frozen teething pacifiers. Just put some breastmilk or formula in an ice cube try, then place the pacifier in the ice cube tray as well and let them freeze together. Once it’s frozen solid, give it to your little one for some tasty relief on their little gums.

8. Make A Medicine Pacifier
It’s no secret that giving a young child or baby medicine is an extremely difficult task. The second their lips taste the spoonful of medicine, they immediately shy away and won’t let you try again. Well, if your child loves his or her pacifier, try making a medicine pacifier. Put a tiny hole in the nipple of the pacifier, then place the medicine in the nipple so that when they suck on it, they’ll get their dose of medicine. If they love their pacifier enough like my son did and does, they’ll keep sucking despite the strange taste.

9. Create A Used Tissue Box
One of the worst things about anyone being sick are all of the gross, used tissues laying around on the bed, floor, tables, and chairs. In order to avoid this when your child (and maybe you’re husband) is sick, make a simple used tissue box for them to dispense them in. All you have to do is take an empty tissue box, attach it to a new tissue box with rubber bands or glue, then let your sick child carry it around all day. They’ll always have a place to put their used tissues and you won’t be stuck touching them as you clean up after them all day long.
