This last weekend we took my daughter to her first “real” eye exam. While I’ve always assumed she would one day need glasses (both my husband and I wear contacts and have since our childhood), it was still a little sad to hear that she’s destined for prescription eyewear in a few years. To help ease my guilt at providing her with less than stellar eye genes, I’ve done some searching and discovered that kids eyeglasses are ADORABLE. Forget those ugly frames (thanks for the memories, ’90’s!), kids glasses are more stylish than ever! Here are some of my favorite styles!

How cute are these horned rim style frames? Manufacturers have long since ceased using actual horn or tortoise for this style, but it’s just as popular as ever. These are perfect for your proud kid who loves wearing glasses, since the bold plastic frame is designed to stand out, not blend in.
