For many people, the 4th of July is their favorite holiday. The food, festivities and fireworks all come together to make this one special summer day. If you’re one of those people, chances are you take the opportunity to deck out your whole house with decorations. If you have a mantle, then that’s probably your focal point. We’ve put together a great list of festive 4th of July mantle designs we think you’ll love!
1. Wild Wild West
Nothing say ‘Merica like a bandana! This mantle is a total homage to the Old West with the bandana garland and wreath, alongside the mason jar vases (not pictured here) and rustic looking wood sign. It looks handmade but with a designer’s touch.
Head over to GirlInTheGarage.net to catch all the little details and recreate this for yourself!
2. Fireworks Mantle
Got sticks? Because a pile of them, some spray paint and a few vases are all you need to get this “fireworks” mantle for yourself! This is a great design if you want to go easy on the decor, but still create an eye popping statement.

It’s all about The Grand Ole Flag in this mantle design. The vase full of flags, flag wooden sign, the strategically arranged red, white and blue stars and the flag-themed garland really put the focus on America. If you love the flag as much as this designer, this mantle is for you!
Check out TheKimSixFix.com for more details on this mantle design, including a tutorial on making the pictured “God Bless America” milk bottles.
This super simple sign-based mantle is made rustic with the use of an old window. Signs like these are easily found at Hobby Lobby or Home Goods, or you can try your hand at making them yourself!

5. Red, White & Blue
Now THIS is a patriotic mantle! If the 4th of July is your favorite holiday, this may be the look you’re going for. There’s no denying the festive red, white and blue accessories and how they all just scream “Happy 4th!”
You can find this design over at CraftaholicsAnonymous.net, along with crafts for other holidays too!
6. God Bless America
This is probably my favorite mantle of this list, and mostly because I love all the little memorablia that signifies America. From the mini Statue of Liberty, to the baseball- this is America! And would you believe the banner is actually made from popsicle sticks!?
Make your own popsicle stick banner by following the tutorial over at TheCraftedSparrow.com.
7. A Day of Independence
This is my second favorite mantle because it has so much history! I love the small details like the old history books, eagle plate and the folded American flag. If you’re a history nut, this is your mantle.
