Every mama cares about the safety of her children, so what better way to keep your kids safe than by purchasing safety locks from One4One Safety and supporting children around the world?

One4One is a company designed to both keep your children safe and support a childcare program in Ethiopia. With each purchase of a ONE4ONE Safety product, 100% of the proceeds are donated to Ellilta Women At Risk to support its childcare program so that families in Ethiopia can benefit from generational and lasting change!

Below is an interview with the founders Nick and Amanda Dunn — a missionary couple located in Ethiopia — to find out more about this new company!

What is the story behind the creation of One4One Safety?

When we flew our family across the world to manage a Hospice Program for the terminally ill in the slums of Addis Ababa, we had no idea just how bad the issue with prostitution in Ethiopia truly was. We learned the commercial sex industry was booming and compromising the health, dignity, and well-being of thousands of young women in Addis Ababa. In the capital alone, it is estimated that 1 out of every 12 women is involved in prostitution.

I (Amanda) soon found myself volunteering with Ellilta Women At Risk — an organization committed to relational based recovery for prostitutes.

Ellilta works with both the women and their children so the generational cycle of prostitution can be broken, which allows their children to no longer be bound by the trauma of sexual exploitation. They have options. These holistic alternatives transform lives, families, and communities.

We believed in the same things as Ellilta, saw the same vision, wanted the same future for those children, and ONE4ONE Safety was born.

What is One4One Safety’s mission?

The benefits of purchasing a ONE4ONE product go way beyond protecting your home. When you buy a ONE4ONE Safety product, 100% of your proceeds will go to Ellilta-Women at Risk, a not-for-profit dedicated to restoring, protecting and empowering the children of former prostitutes seeking rehabilitation in Ethiopia.

With their moms off the streets, these children are now safe and sheltered.

Each child is provided medical care as well as one-on-one and group counseling.

School-aged children are enrolled in local schools and participate in summer camp.

What are your hopes for the future of One4One Safety?

To see the sex-trade end in Ethiopia. We want to help Ellilta Women at Risk take another step in the right financial direction so that they can create lasting change in Ethiopia for years to come.

We want to be the number one baby proofing product choice for socially conscious moms in America.

We would like to be able to add more products to our product line. More products mean safer homes in America and a safer future for the children of former prostitutes in Ethiopia.
