8. Give Yourself Rewards
One trick that always keeps me motivated when I’m trying to lose weight is to set a reward for myself if I meet a goal. I will usually reward myself with something that I have been wanting for a while, like a piece of clothing that I normally wouldn’t buy, a purse I’ve had my eye on at the mall for a few months, or some new curtains for our home. If there’s something you’ve really been wanting for a while, tell yourself that once you reach your goal, you can get it. The thought of finally getting that one thing you really want will really keep you motivated.
