7. NoseFrida

Before I was a mom I had never even heard of such a thing as a nasal aspirator. When my son got sick once and had really bad congestion I asked on Facebook what other moms recommended to help relieve the congestion. Almost every mom suggested using a NoseFrida. When I looked it up, I have to admit I was really grossed out, but decided it was worth a try. Boy, was it worth the try. It really sucks up a lot of the congestion and helps your baby breathe so much better. My son definitely hated when we did this to him, but afterwards you could tell he felt so much better.

8. Temporal Thermometer

One of the hardest things to do when your child is sick is take their temperature. I refused to use a rectal thermometer because I mean, come on, who wants to do that to their child? Baby’s can’t really keep in a mouth thermometer and an ear thermometer is hard, too, because they won’t sit still long enough for you to get a reading. I had seen temporal thermometers at Target before, but never wanted to get one because they were $30! That seemed like such a rip off to me. Then, one day when my son was about 18 months old he was really sick and no matter what thermometer I used I could not get his temperature because he wouldn’t cooperate with any of them. I finally broke down and bought a temporal thermometer and it has changed our life ever since then. It’s SO incredibly easy to use and I can get a reading every time.

9. Milkies Milk-Savers

I’ll admit I have never actually heard of this product until recently. I am expecting my second child and I cannot wait to purchase some of these. If you are going to be breastfeeding, you’ll soon find out that breastmilk is liquid gold and you cannot waste one drop. Well, unfortunately when you go to nurse your child on one side, the other breast will let down as well and will leak some breast milk. Using this product allows you to collect that leaked milk. All you have to do is put it on your breast before nursing your child on the other side. Then, as your child nurses and your other breast leaks, the Milkie will collect the milk so you can use it later in a bottle. Seriously amazing!
