4. Grab A Candy Cane If You Can
Disneyland is famous for their handmade candy canes baked in their Candy Palace or Trolley Treats (over in California Adventure) stores. Every year, Disney releases the dates and times they will be making their candy canes online, and they issue 40 wristbands per batch, up to 120 per designated day. How do you get these wristbands? You have to be some of the first people in the park, and then run yourselves straight to the store making them. If you get a wristband, you can get up to two candy canes each, but you have to come at your specific time. Candy canes are $12.99 each, but here’s the thing: THEY ARE HUGE! These aren’t your grocery store candy canes, they are nearly a foot long and you get to watch them make them.

5. Eat Meals During Off Hours
If you plan on eating meals entirely in the Park and not bring your own food, then take note that typical meal times that are normally crowded with park goers during popular times are even more so because of the Holidays. If you have kids, bring lots of snacks that can tie them over until you find an off time. Avoid waiting in non-fun lines (i.e for restaurants and not attractions) and try eating meals around 10:30am, 3pm and past 8pm. It should be noted that it’s not atypical for Disneyland to reach capacity, especially the closer you get to Christmas Day. If you happen to leave the park for food, you may not be able to get back in!

6. Get A Yule Log
Disneyland is famous for many foods that you can only get in their Parks and leave you planning your next visit before you finish chewing. The Plaza Inn’s Yule Log is one of those items that you simply can’t miss. During December, their logs are normally chocolate or coffee flavored and are a fan favorite among Disney enthusiasts.
