To help you decide, here’s our list of the Top 10 Family Spring Break Destinations that’ll help you steer clear of the college crowd and almost guarantee warmer weather.

I know what you’re thinking. New Orleans? Really?
Yes.
I grew up in this town, and I love to take my children back now because there are so many kid-friendly activities to enjoy. One of my favorites is Storyland in City Park. This fairytale-themed playground has 25 life-sized storybook sculptures for kids to play on, like Captain Hook’s Pirate Ship and Cinderella’s Pumpkin Coach. Once they’ve worked up a sweat at Storyland, take them to a sno-ball stand for a sweet, icy treat–the locals’ spin on shaved ice. Also, don’t miss the Audubon Zoo and the Aquarium of the Americas. They’re world-class facilities.
