They say “Honesty is the best policy,” but how many people really live by this principle? Jack Vale wanted to know if good customer service still existed so he set up an experiment to see if he could find honest, hardworking people. Using a Walmart and a fast food restaurant as his testing ground, he set up hidden cameras to catch employees in action. What he discovered is amazon, and how he rewarded the excellent examples of good customer service is even better. Check out the video below to see the results of his experiment!
Knowing that there are still honest people out there restores some faith in humanity, at least in the retail setting! It was great to see these same people be rewarded, but disappointing to have them say that most people never thank them for a job well done. Well I’m going to be sure I pay more attention and thank those hard workers!
