7. Miniature Scenes
We love it when our kids use their imaginations, so scour the internet for some “city” scenes and print them out in color. Then all you need are some fun foam stickers, put magnets on the back and they’ll love creating their own worlds as you drive across the midwest.

9. Funny Faces
This activity had me laughing out loud. You can either use your own photos or those from a magazine, and simple cut out the various facial features. Be sure to do a variety of expressions! It’s probably wise to laminate them, especially if you’re using magazine photos since they are so thin. Then just glue magnets on the back. You’ll hear your kids laughing the entire way!

10. Chalkboard Fun
Chalk is always entertaining to a kid (and hey, adults too!). You can create your own miniature chalkboard by simply painting your cookie sheet with chalkboard paint. You will (hopefully) keep the mess to a confined area, and it will still double as a great place for magnets too!
