Sometimes I love making dinner, but other times it’s just another thing to check off on my to-do list. On those nights, I need meals that are easy and that I won’t have to convince my family to eat (i.e. no experimental recipes!). We love pasta in our house so noodle dinners often fall on these nights. They are so easy and give great leftovers. One of my favorite easy pasta dinners is a Cheese Ravioli Bake, because it’s hearty and flavorful and has lots of everyone’s favorite, cheese! Check out this 5-ingredient recipe and then get cooking.
Ingredients
1 25 oz bag of frozen cheese ravioli
1 24 oz. jar of pasta sauce
1/2 cup of chicken broth
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 cups mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour out frozen bag (another great reason to love this recipe- no prep work!) of ravioli into large mixing bowl, and empty entire contents of pasta jar.
Then add in 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Chop up parsley.
Add parsley to bowl of ingredients and mix well. So sorry I didn’t snag a picture for you, but I’m sure you have a great imagination and can picture what a bowl of stirred up pasta looks like! Lightly spray casserole dish with cooking spray for easy clean up, and then pour out mixture into dish.
Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of cheese (or more!) on top.
Pull out a large piece of foil to cover casserole, but be sure to spray cooking oil on the side facing your ravioli. This will prevent the cheese from sticking to your foil and ruining your pretty meal! Very important!
Cover and place in oven for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and careful take off foil. Your ravioli should be nice and bubbly! Never mind my rogue ravioli in the middle there- not sure what is going on!
Allow to slightly cool and then spoon out and serve with a nice green veggie or salad! Enjoy!
