Exams are an inevitable part of any student’s life, and exam season can cause high levels of stress that ruin any study plan. However, to ace your exams and get top-grades, you need to find effective ways of managing stress and preventing burnout.

On top of your exams, you often have to deal with tons of coursework and writing assignments. Obviously, these tasks increase pressure and cause more stress.

To reduce their workloads, many students decide to outsource their assignments to essay writer. Although this is definitely helpful, it’s better to master the art of coping with stress.

Read on to learn a few useful tips that will help you beat stress and ace your exams:

Clear Your Room and Desk

A messy room or a cluttered desk won’t let you concentrate. When your workplace isn’t clean, your mind is bombarded by many distractions, so you can’t think or study well, and that leads to stress.

To make your surroundings less stressful, keep unnecessary items out of sight. Also, take a few minutes to clean your room and desk after you finish studying each day so that you can come back to a tidy room tomorrow.

Take Breaks and Have a Bit of Fun

Take short 30-minutes breaks. Spending a little time away from your books refreshes your mind and helps you relax so that you can study better after the break.

Even the most intense exam timetables allow for short breaks. If possible, give yourself a day off after you’ve taken several exams. You can go for a short walk in the evening, hang out with your friends or do some shopping.

If you like to stay inside, you can invite friends to watch a movie or play a video game. You could even read a book or listen to a podcast. As long as you let your mind wander off for a few hours, it doesn’t really matter what you do.

When you let go of your worries and focus on having fun at the moment, your mind can stop overthinking and actually rest. This way, when you return to your studies, you’ll feel less tired and you can focus better.

Outsource Your Writing Coursework

If you’re under the pressure of numerous exams and assignments, it seems like there’s no way other than studying hard for exams. But why not ask for help with your coursework?

Writing tasks are usually dull and time-consuming. Plus, you probably don’t have the necessary skills to write like a pro. To save time and energy, it might be a good idea to use writing services online.

Academic writing services provide high-quality essay services to college and university students to help them handle their coursework.

When choosing a writing agency, bear in mind that not all service providers are equal. Take time to search carefully and find an agency that provides decent service quality. Creative writing services ensure delivery of original content, execution of revisions, and reliable customer support.

Reduce Cellphone Usage

You probably don’t think your cell phone could cause stress, but it’s actually among the top causes of stress among students. Research shows that overusing your phone increases the production of cortisol in your body, which is also called the stress hormone. It also affects your sleep patterns. And irregular sleep is associated with high levels of stress.

In addition, you might waste a lot of time using your phone each day. This way,  you won’t have enough time to prepare for exams, and that leads to stress again.

To get rid of stress caused by electronic devices, switch your phone off while studying, or at least put it on the flight mode. Also, turn off all mobile notifications, and check your social feeds once or twice a day during your break times.

Learn Time Management Techniques

Research shows students who can manage their time better experience lower exam-related stress.

The first step to managing your time is to create your own calendar and import all your exams and assignments. Then identify testable materials for each exam and determine your current situation. How much do you need to study for each exam? Are you behind on any of your assignments?

The next step is to prioritize your tasks. Time management is essentially about prioritization. Sort your exams and tasks based on the amount of work they’re going to require. Then get to work and do your best to stick to your priorities.

You should try to complete your assignments one or two days before the expected deadline. This way, you won’t have to complete everything at the last minute, and you’ll have more free time to study for your exams.

Take Herbal Remedies

When you are feeling stressed or anxious, there are herbal remedies that you could try. For example, CBD could be very helpful in easing the symptoms of stress and anxiety. Take a look at this website, these guys test products that are designed to help you with your stress. This would be particularly useful during exam times.

CBD comes from the cannabis plant, however, don’t let the association put you off. It has none of the psychoactive properties that the drug has meaning you just feel calm. You can take CBD has oil, as capsules, or as gummies.

Bottom Line

Exam season is usually full of stress for nearly all students. If you’re a student and you feel overwhelmed by the amount of work you should do, don’t despair. There are some simple things you can do to reduce your stress.

Most importantly, clean your room and take breaks often. You should also limit your cell phone usage and learn time management skills. If you still need help, it’s a good idea to outsource your writing tasks to an academic writing service.
