Jeans are one of those fashion pieces that I think 99% of people own at least one pair of. I personally have more than a handful, and I have a hard time parting with them- even the ones that don’t fit! If you’re in the same boat, I’ve got good news. You don’t have to get rid of those jeans you don’t wear anymore. You can turn them into a fun DIY project! It’s pretty amazing just how many things you can create with an old pair of jeans, and I bet you’ll be blown away by these. Get out those craft scissors and repurpose your favorite denim into a fantastic memento for your home.
In need of some new coasters for your coffee table? Or maybe you’d like to have some at your desk for while you work? These are so cute! They might not be the most durable option, but I can guarantee that they’ll be the coolest coasters in your neighborhood!

Is there anything you can’t turn into a wreath? I’m not sure, but I know you can turn an old pair of jeans into one. This project does take a lot of fabric scraps, but it’s a great piece of decor for a country style home. Handmade creations are the best!

4. Wine Bags
This is seriously a really cool idea! I don’t give bottles of wine to people as gifts very often, but if I did, I’d love to wrap a bottle in a jean bag! If you need a small something like a bottle of wine to bring to a holiday celebration, a housewarming party, or a friend’s home for dinner, this would be an adorable way to give it.

5. Baby Bib
Before you start shopping for your mama-to-be friend, check out this handmade baby bib project! Sure, you could buy them some trinket off their baby registry that they will eventually sell or get rid of. Or, you could put a little blood, sweat and tears into making a special gift that will be far more meaningful.

6. Magazine Rack
I don’t have a stack of magazines in my bathroom, but I really should. Better yet, I should have reading material in my guest bathroom. I don’t have guests over very often, but it’s nice to have something to look at while you’re doing your business, am I right? This copper and jean option is fabulous!

The one downside to this project is that it appears to be time consuming. But I would love to have a cute denim basket in my home! You can keep fruit, toys, gadgets, just about anything in a basket. And knowing that your old jeans are there holding your stuff is pretty darn cool!
Check out Ohoh Blog for the details on making this.
