One of the things that drives me crazy when it comes to organization is the lack of space in my home for keeping books. My kids have tons of them, and we do lots of reading. But the books get scattered around the house because we don’t have sufficient storage for all of them. If we had more shelving, we could at least create some stylish bookends to keep them more organized.

1. Metallic Rock Book Ends
Add some glitz, glamour and gold to your bookshelves with sturdy bookends made from giant rocks. This is such a simple idea, but it totally spices up your space!

2. Succulent Book Ends
Bring the outdoors in with country style bookends. This is an easy project using succulents. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to water your bookends, since houseplants require a bit of maintenance. You can easily trade out your live plants for plastic ones, but nothing is as gorgeous as the real thing!

3. Half Log Book Ends
Not only are these bookends unique looking, they add a fun pop of color to your space! I love the mix of rustic and modern elements. This project is great because you can customize it any way you want with different colored paints and log sizes.

All you need are three supplies and a few minutes, and you’ve got some super fun bookends! These are so stylish (and sooooo easy to make), you don’t even need to use them as bookends. Just display on your shelf as another piece of decor.

6. Wrapped Brick Book Ends
Have some extra bricks lying around that you’re not sure what to do with? Great! Turn them into a pair of cute bookends for your shelves. All you’ll need is some fabric to wrap around them, along with a glue gun.
