10 Paw-sitively Purrfect Pet Halloween Costumes

There are only a few weeks left until Halloween, so hopefully you’ve got your children’s costumes figured out. But what about your fur babies? You’re not going to leave them out of the fun, are you? When I had a cat, I loved dressing her up in cute outfits. (She, however, hated being my personal dress up doll.) Our pets are part of the family, so they should have a fun costume too! If you need some ideas on what to put your four legged kids in for Halloween, maybe these ideas will give you some inspiration.

1. Batman

Your little pooch can be a hero in black by wearing an adorable Batman getup for Halloween. All you need is a black t-shirt, some yarn and a couple of printouts for a mask and logo. Your canine kid will be so cute, I wouldn’t be surprised if he scored a giant bowl of dog treats from people who mistook him for a true trick-or-treater!

2. Stegosaurus

What’s cute and green and spiky all over? This guy. And your pup could be just as adorable on Halloween. With a few foam sheets and a green tee, you can turn your barking buddy into the cutest dog-osaurus around!

3. Sushi

If you are what you eat, what does that mean for this pup? I guess it means that if you like sushi, you should dress your dog up like a sushi roll for Halloween. I personally don’t like sushi, but I’d definitely steal a smooch from this pooch!

4. Rastafarian

Ya mon, peace and love and stuff. That’s the Rastafarian way of life, am I right? If my cat would have let me put this costume on her, I would have it done it all the time! It looks quite natural on this kitty, which makes it even more awesome!

I’m one of the few moms who has actually never seen Frozen. But this costume? I mean, it doesn’t get any cuter! This precious pup should be entered in a costume contest and win for being such a good sport!

9. Donald Trump

I.have.no.words. This is just, wow. Dress your cat up like Mr. Trump and he’ll either get lots of laughs, or lots of hisses. Can I vote for this cutie instead of one of the humans we have to choose from?

10. Pupcake

If you’re going to kiss and nibble and love on your pet, why not dress her up as a cupcake? That’s double the sweetness, and she’ll look super duper cute! If I saw a giant cupcake roaming around my street, I’d surely stop to say hello!
