7. Scented Nasal Clips
When you’re pregnant, your senses are heightened and your sense of smell goes into overdrive. But that means bad smells can drive you to vomiting faster than you can say “morning sickness.” If you absolutely cannot stand everyday smells, then try out some nasal clips. They are discreet, clear clips that go into both nostrils and come in a variety of fragrances. They will keep you smelling the desirable smell and distract you from the odors that are driving you to vomit.
8. Lemons, Lemons, Lemons
The citrus and fresh smell of a lemon does wonders for nausea. You can suck on lemon candy, add lemons to your water, smell a fresh lemon or diffuse lemon essential oil. Be sure to carry something lemon with you wherever you go, so you won’t be caught off guard and have to run off to the bathroom.
9. Wear Loose Clothing
While this trick won’t stop morning sickness that’s already started, it may help you prolong it from coming on earlier in the day. When you’re feeling sick, the last thing you want is anything tight pushing on your stomach. While it may be tempting to make those pre-pregnancy jeans last longer, if they are causing nausea then take.them.off. You’ll soon be enjoying the glory that is spandex leggings and tunic topics, so why not start a little early?
