7. Take A Nature Walk
There comes a time when your toddler is thirsty for knowledge and every other sentence is peppered with “what’s that?” You are the ultimate teacher, so get outside and let your toddler ask you as many questions as they want! You will have wonderful memories of teaching them all about rocks, flowers, animals and trucks.
8. Go On A Toddler Date
My husband told me the other day that I get to do “all the fun stuff” with our daughter while he’s at work (which is not true, and I have many more non-fun hours that fill the day that he’s clearly not remembering!). So we’ve since created daddy-daughter Saturday morning dates to the donut shop. They aren’t gone for more than 30 minutes, but now he will never look at a donut shop again without thinking of our daughter.

9. Piggy Back Rides
When you are looking at your grown children, you won’t be able to fathom how they once fit on your shoulders or rode on your back. Memories that create physical reminders of how young and small your children were are priceless. So giddy up!
