With the holidays approaching fast, I’m figuring out how to incorporate Christmas into our everyday activities. I know I’m not the only one that feels like there just isn’t enough time to cram in all the festive fun. Especially if you are one to wait until Turkey day is over before getting started. *Ahem, my husband.* One thing I love to do during the holidays is crafts, and it’s even better if you can craft something special to give away as a gift. With a toddler in tow this year, I’ve been making a list of fun crafts we can do together. I can’t wait to hang them up all over our home.

1. Handprint Christmas Tree Cards

Now, I know you are thinking that you have the perfect family photo picked out for your Christmas card this year, but how about making a few of these for your kiddos to send out to their friends? I love watching my daughter develop friendships with kids her age, and it’s never too early to teach them to spread some love.

Check out www.blitsy.com‘s blog for more awesome tutorials.

2. Peppermint Christmas Slime

What kid doesn’t like ooey gooey slime? Add Christmas scents and glitter and you have a fun craft for the holidays that will keep the kiddo entertained for hours. Make sure to note, this is not edible slime, so make sure to supervise if you have little ones playing.

Find the tutorial for this fun slime over at www.momdot.com.

3. Bow Tie Noodle Wreath

While I do love crafts, sometimes you just need something sweet and simple, without the excessive clean up. This cute bow tie noodle craft is super easy and totally fun for the kiddos. Simply paint and glitter the noodles, then once dry glue to some white card stock and add a simple bow to the bottom.

4. Paper Plate Christmas Tree

These cute little trees are a perfect addition to your holiday decor. I honestly believe the handmade decorations are the best! You can easily change the tree decorations by adding, glitter, stickers or little gems. The options are truly endless.

7. Toilet Roll Snowmen

How cute are these little snowmen? They would make a great addition to your kids room during the holidays. What I love most about this craft is the endless ways to decorate your snowmen. Even better a lot of what you need you can find laying around your house. This craft is even great to do with little kiddos as long as you manage the hot glue gun for them.
