If you’ve ever grown tired of the typical bowl of cereal, but don’t have time to make the gourmet breakfast you really want, complete with bacon, then this toast and egg combo is just for you. This dish is served around the world and was probably made famous in the film, “V For Vendetta” as we watch V make Natalie Portman her own “toad in a hole.” It’s called by many names, but the signature appearance of a fried egg inside a piece of toast with a hole in it is what unites it. If you are in a hurry but want a filling breakfast, then check out this easy dish and watch the video below!
This is a great way for your kids to help out in preparing breakfast. Even if they’re too young to cook, then can easily help by cutting out fun shapes in the bread! This is personally one of my favorite breakfast dishes. Have you tried it? You should! Let us know what you call this famous breakfast dish!
