Pete Benda suffered a severe traumatic brain injury after falling 30 feet, landing on his head. His injury was one of the worst types of brain injuries, and the road to recovery looked dismal for Pete and his family. But Pete had a will to live that eventually proved his doctors wrong. After just a few short months, Pete was back to walking, talking and much more. Watch this amazing video of Pete’s journey and how his parents survived something that no parent ever wants to experience.
It was so amazing to actually hear Pete’s voice towards the end of this video! It’s amazing to see someone so young and articulate, explain what he went through. I can only hope I have the hope that he does if I ever have to endure anything close to this!
