911 hotlines gets thousands of emergency calls every day, and it can be difficult when a young child calls. Is the child in real danger, or did they accidentally dial for help? If they are calling for a real reason, it can be hard to understand such a young and high pitched voice, and that’s what happened one day when a 4 year old boy dialed 911. Since he was calling from a cellphone, the dispatcher had a hard time locating his address but knew that the boys mother needed help. For fifteen minutes, the dispatcher stayed with the boy until rescuers were able to locate the house! Click the video below and listen to the recorded call by this four year old hero!
It’s not everyday that our kids get to take care of us, but thank goodness that this boys mother taught him how to call for help!
