There is something about the beauty of music that can bring both happy and sad tears. Music can relieve burdens and move us in unexpected ways. The students at PS22 in Staten Island New York often use music to share their feelings, especially in their chorus group. On the last day of the year, they have a tradition of a final performance. But this year, they shared their last song with their teacher who is fighting cancer. The video you are about to see will bring tears to your eyes, so grab a tissue!
I could not stop the tears on this one! You can tell the teacher is completely moved by their loving tribute, and I don’t know how the students kept it together while singing! We wish their teacher all the luck in the world during her cancer treatment!
