They say, “Never let go of your dreams,”and 91-year old Barbra Beskind is holding on to that phrase. Just two years ago, she can say she finally landed her dream job as an inventor. She may be decades older from her co-workers but she is every bit as valuable. Working at a design firm called IDEO in Silicon Valley enables Barbra to share her own passion for problem solving, stating that “elderly people bring experience you can’t teach.” Barbra’s dream of becoming an inventor started when she was just 10 years old. Barbra states she is very rich “in time,” probably being one of the few people in Silicon Valley who doesn’t have a smart phone or even a desktop computer. She is quite the example to never give up on your dreams. It’s never too late to reach them!
