When I was a kid, I fondly remember reading all kinds of books. One of the most popular genres in elementary school was the gamebook, or “choose your own adventure” style. Not only could you immerse yourself in a detailed story, but the reader was able to make their own decisions and carry the story into their very own, unique direction.
