Dad With Terminal Cancer Walks His 11-Year-Old Daughter Down the Aisle

Tragically, Josie Zetz’s father will not be there for her real wedding. So this is the next best thing.

Josie’s father, Jim, is dying of pancreatic cancer. Josie wanted nothing more than for her father to walk her down the aisle one day. Thanks to photographer Lindsey Villatoro of Love Song Photography, that dream became a reality.

After soliciting donations from her own family and friends, Lindsey surprised Josie with a perfect ceremony, complete with a dress, a promise ring, flowers, and most importantly, a walk down the aisle with her beloved daddy. Lindsey captured photographs and a video from the event (see below)

Lindsey recalls the day, “ was a little bit overwhelmed when her mom picked her up from school and told her. She just needed a moment. Later, she said, ‘This is the best day of my life.’ She was very glad and excited to have these moments.”
