10. Waste Basket

If your guests are considerate enough to throw their trash away, you should be considerate enough to have a waste basket available to them. Where do you expect them to toss away their used tissue? Or the q-tips that they cleaned their ears with? Or…those used tampons? Gross, I know! So don’t leave them hanging. Don’t force them to carry their trash home (or leave it on the bathroom floor- ick!) with them because they couldn’t find a trash can in the bathroom.

Head over to Target and find an inexpensive waste basket for your guests to use.

11. Flower Decor

Every guest bathroom needs pretty decor. It really sets the mood. Not that the bathroom is a “romantic” place, but it’s a place where you go to privately take care of yourself and your needs. It’s a place where you should feel calm and relaxed. Decorating with flowers will actually make your guests feel good (yes, even macho, manly men like flowers). Flowers will also help keep the bathroom smelling good. Good feelings + good smells= happy guests.
