With each holiday and unfolding of traditions and making of new ones, I find myself taking a step back to realize in some profound way that these are actually my kids(!) That's the tricky thing about becoming a mother so early on in adulthood; responsibility overtakes immaturity (for the most part) so quickly and abruptly. Holidays just magnify this. Mostly, In a beautiful, "this is it!" way. Nevertheless, my hands– they're full. My mind (often too much) and my heart too! And damnit, through it all, these children have been the biggest pushers and blessings a girl could ask for. They've shaped me. And while I know I am still growing too- making mistakes along the way, such is motherhood. Such is young adulthood. Such is life. And life is for the living. I'm happy to just be alive living this life with them, in my right frame of mind and health. Things we often take for granted. Just thankful. Happy Easter! #motherhood
