11. Craft
I love getting artsy, but don’t like plucking markers and glue sticks from my daughters hands every time I try to sit down and do it. It takes the joy out of it when you can’t sit down and just focus on your project. Take advantage of alone time and finish up that photo album or Pinterest craft. You know you want to!

12. Vacation
If you find yourself with some long term alone time, take a trip! You don’t have to fly to Fiji (although no one could blame you!), but you can still recharge with the best of them by going on vacation. Most people agree they return from vacation feeling rejuvenated, grateful and more patient with their kids. Win win!

13. Go For A Walk
Sometimes it’s the simple things that count, and going for a nice walk or run is a great way to spend your alone time. You can make it a nature walk and go hiking, or maybe even create your own playlist for a long trek.

14. Get A Massage
Or better yet, sign up for a massage club so you have something to look forward to every month. Now, I know this isn’t for everyone because massages aren’t necessarily cheap, but there are plenty of budget friendly places that will help give the gift of massage at an affordable price. I think of it as an investment in my body and mind. I am taking care of myself physically, so I’m not as crabby and uncomfortable. I am also taking care of myself, which then makes me better able to take care of my family.

15. Grab a Cocktail
Nothing like bringing you back to your pre-kiddo days than a nice drink at the bar. You can even go virgin style, no alcohol required. Just enjoy your time sitting at the big kid table, surrounded by other adults!
