2. Fill & Dump
If your baby is sitting already, this is a great activity to encourage fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Take several different sized bowls and a few utensils like a spoon, along with pourable items like water, rice or cereal. Then show your baby how to put the objects in the bowl, how to pour it out and transfer to another bowl. Babies love pouring things out (as you’ll soon witness once they know how to dump that dinner plate) and this activity will keep them entertained, as well as serve as a great sensory stimulating activity.
