Before I became a mother, going out was simple and frequent. I know I didn’t appreciate it like I do now, when sometimes I feel like my sanity hinges on at least a few consecutive hours of nobody touching me, yelling “MOMMY!” or asking for a snack. Over and over again. But getting out of the house with other moms is a necessary event if you want to keep both your friends and some semblance of your humanity. This video pretty much nails it on the head when it comes to outlining the steps a mom needs to have a great mom’s night out. Watch and learn!
I’m pretty sure my favorite part was Step 3, making sure that dad doesn’t bother you on your night out! I also totally relate to the part about not talking about your kids.
