6. Embossed Ornaments
This sounds way fancier and difficult than it really is, trust me. Take your cookie cutter ornaments and a cable knit sweater or anything with a great pattern, like doilies, toy blocks or a simple stamp, and rest on your ornament, pre-baking. Take a rolling pin and impress on the dough. Voila! You have a professional looking ornament and have probably wowed the kids. If you messed up, simply roll out the dough again and start over. This is perfect for little ones who may want to make their own imprints with anything they can find.
