4. Wallet
There was one time at church, I let my son play with my wallet. Before I knew it, my credit cards were scattered across the pew. Luckily, none were lost and I was able to put them all back. But if I’m at home and need to get something done, I have no problem letting my kids rummage through my wallet. Apparently any type of card is super fun to pull out of the slot and put back in, and digging through the little compartments is like going on a treasure hunt. (Too bad my children won’t find much besides some change and maybe a crumpled up receipt.)
5. Refrigerator Magnets
You can find all kinds of magnets for kids. There are alphabet ones, animal ones and other various kid-friendly types. My kids enjoy any kind of magnet, even the ones that double as chip clips. If they’ve got bright colors, shiny elements or cute designs, my children will find them entertaining. Magnets can be educational, too, which is great! Ask your child to spell their name of the fridge, or write out the name of what mommy’s making for dinner. Once they see how fun it is to learn, they’ll want to learn something new all the time!

6. Clean Laundry
I know you’re probably thinking, why would I want my children to play with clean laundry? But I think a better question is, why would you want your children to play with dirty laundry? My 14 month old cracks me up when she pulls my clean underwear out the laundry pile and puts them on her head like a hat. It’s so cute!
As for my 3 1/2 year old, he loves helping find his underwear from the clean laundry pile. Who am I to get upset over my child wanting to help? Let your kids dig around the clean laundry if it means you get 15 minutes of you time. I mean, who are we kidding? That laundry won’t get folded for at least three days anyway.
