It’s bound to happen: the Polar Vortex will show up at your front door with piles and piles of snow, and school will be cancelled. This means you and the kids will be INSIDE pretty much all day. Of course, the kids can do their fair share of sledding and snowballs fights, but there’s about 12 more hours in the day to figure out what else to do. Here are a few tips for keeping your kids (and you!) sane on snow days.

Plan a schedule of activities ahead of time. Each snow day at our house contains a mix of school work, chores, outside play, screen time, and lots of hot chocolate.
