Decorating for Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, behind Christmas of course! It’s really the first time my home is transformed from every day function into seasonal bliss as the end of the year starts to take off into the holidays. I.LOVE.It. While I don’t have a proper mantle (thank you, 1990’s California architecture), I do like to decorate as much as I possibly can and that usually includes some fall banners. They can really tie in a mantlescape or simple add a little something extra to simple fireplace. I’ve found 10 fall banners for this year, and now I just have to decide which one to make!

2. Candy Corn Paint Chip Banner
Candy Corn and Fall are often synonymous and that’s why this easy banner is perfect for September through October! All you need to do is snag some free paint chip samples at your local home improvement or paint store, and then cut into rounded triangles. Glue to some twine and hang! It couldn’t be simpler (or cuter).

3. Pine Cone & Wooden Bead Banner
Oh, this banner is totally going in my home this year! I love the earthy feel that comes with the pinecones and natural wood elements of the beads. The beads have holes already in them, so it’s only a matter of tying knots to keep them in place, and hot gluing pinecones. This is a beautiful, easy and inexpensive craft.
