Moms are known to making sacrifices for our children, but most of those don’t include life and death sacrifices. Karla Perez didn’t know when she got pregnant with her second child that she would end up sacrificing her own life, so that her son Angel could live. After suffering complications from rheumatoid arthritis, Karla was found to be brain dead. But her family didn’t want her unborn child to suffer, being only 22 weeks along. So a team of medical professionals number over 100 worked to prolong Karla’s physical body for 54 days, so that Angel could be born and survive. Watch this amazing story!
