7. Frozen Yogurt
Nothing tastes better on a hot day than some refreshing frozen yogurt or ice cream. But in case you hadn’t noticed, sweet treats usually aren’t lean treats. If you want a healthier option you can actually make your own frozen yogurt, in the comfort of your own home and without a huge ice cream maker machine. Toss frozen fruit with a sweetener and yogurt into your food processor and mix until it becomes thick. Fresh frozen yogurt has never tasted so good.

8. Salad Dressing
If there ever was a sneaky food that’s packed with calories, it’s the mighty salad dressing. Just when you think you’re being healthy by ordering a salad, they ruin it by putting on a 1,000 calorie dressing! Stop the madness and just make your own- it’s super easier and actually only takes as long as it does to watch the ingredients be pulverized by a food processor. You get to decide what ingredients to put on, instead of fatty preservatives.
While the dressing pictured above may not exactly be low-cal, it sure looks delicious! Grab this Buttermilk Green Goddess dressing over at LittleBroken.com.

9. Baby Food
I’m going to go against my normal tendencies of buying a gadget for absolutely everything, and tell you that if you have a food processor already, don’t even think about buying a “baby food maker.” It’s just plain ridiculous to buy a miniature version of something you already have, especially when you won’t have to make so many bactches! A food processor is the perfect way to make baby food purees that will keep you feeling confident of what you’re feeding your baby.
