When a family has a new baby brought in to the world that experiences any time in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), most all of them will say they become strongly attached to the hospital staff. It is a stressful and emotional time to have your baby being taken care of in the NICU, especially if you’re a new mom. Many nights are spent away from your baby, who you just want to take home and begin your life with. The people at Kleenex decided to highlight one special NICU nurse who has made a huge impact on her tiny patients and their families. Even though I’ve never spent any time in the NICU with my daughter, I have many friends who have. They all say they return to visit their nurses because they made such an impact on both them and the lives of their children. This is a beautiful video that brought tears to my eyes, and I bet yours too!
