The new year means looking forward to all the winter and Spring activities of the year, and one of the most popular is the Super Bowl. If you’re a football fan, this is YOUR Sunday. But if you’re not quite into watching grown men tackle and hurt each other, dedicating an entire day with your partner and kids may not seem so exciting. This game can’t get much simpler. Grab a pair of party attendees, a bucket and some toy stuffed footballs (don’t forget to order these in advance!). One player will punt the balls into their partner’s bucket until the time has run out, or they’ve caught all the balls. This is a great game for kids or adults!

4. Mini Football Toss
Whether you’re prepping for a Super Bowl party with tons of kids, or revving up for the new NFL season of tailgating, this mini football toss game is a winner. 5. Super Bowl Word Scramble
Antsy older kids, guests who couldn’t care less about football- this Super Bowl word scramble will make everyone happy. Difficult enough to get the attention of adults, but not so much that the kids can’t participate, the word scramble would be a great activity during some of those extra long time outs!
This is a chance to figure out how expansive your vocabulary is while you race to unscramble the letters before your friends and family. Alternatively, you can just learn to be resourceful by relying on a tool that can unscramble words to solve the puzzles for you. Simply enter the letters you want to unscramble and the site will spit out the correct word. You can even specify if a word starts with a certain letter or ends with a specific letter. We recommend trying to learn from these tools by looking up any words you don’t know afterward.

6. Play Football!
A long football game where kids have no vested interest (either because their team’s not in it this year or they just don’t love sitting for a long time watching) means heading outside to get out pent up energy is always a good idea. Why not play football? It’s what we’re all here for! Break the kids and adults into teams and go head to head in some friendly scrimmages. TOUCHDOWN!
7. Don’t Say It
Pick a word that’s off limits for the entire party, like “football,” and keep track of all the slip ups on a board. Think: baby shower game gone Super Bowl! If you want, you can give a “penalty” every time your guest says the off-limits word and then reward the winners at the end of the party with small gifts.
8. Hot Potato Football
We all know the classic game of hot potato, but why not mix it up for your Super Bowl party? You can use an actual hot potato, or grab one of those cute mini footballs you’ve been using for all your games already, This is a super easy way to keep everyone busy and paying attention for at least an hour 15 minutes. Because, kids!
