Once you become a mom, you realize how many parenting styles are out there. Rather then end all my friendships, I’ve learned that letting others parent they way they want without my opinion seems to bring us closer together. Topics like home schooling, discipline, rear-facing car seats, immunizations and sleep methods can get ugly really fast! There is no shortage of opinionated people, as a quick look on any social media forum will tell you. The awesome moms at The Mother Hood decided to play funny on the playground Mommy Wars, and created this hilarious video about how extreme we can all get- especially when it comes to our kids. Make sure you watch until the end, I surprisingly wiped a tear!
I have to admit, I felt a little embarrassed watching this! Personally, I want to be able to just focus on how us moms are connected, not on what sets us apart. I want to be thankful of the understanding mom who witnesses my toddler’s public tantrum, and picks up my spilled groceries when I run to pick up my daughter if she falls.
