Since my daughter was born, I’ve gotten sick twice so bad that I was glued to the couch. The first time, she was barely crawling so it was pretty easy to keep her close to me while I died on the sofa. This last time, however, she was a rambunctious toddler that only wanted to watch Frozen so many times before she looked at me with disdain for my lack of entertainment. Drastic times call for drastic measures, so we’ve put together a small list of ideas that you can use the next time you find yourself marooned on the couch with the flu. We hope this list keeps the kids at bay while you recover!
1. Build A Tent
Grab some blankets and pillows and have your kids construct a tent around your lifeless body. You’ll get to continue to lay down, while they think you are playing with them. Pretend you’re camping for some extra role playing!
