If there’s one thing about navigating parenthood, it’s that learning to laugh at yourself is one of the essential survival skills you need in your arsenal. There will always be days that end in bodily fluids, tantrums, exhaustion and sheer confusion, so learning not to take yourself too seriously will keep you afloat. That’s where cartoonist and dad, Brian Gordon comes in. Following his life long dream to become a cartoonist, Brian now runs his own website Fowl Language. Gordon creates all sorts of comics, but his parenting ones are my personal favorite! Inspired by his trials at parenting, Brian’s signature ducks (get it, fowl language?), show us the best and worst of parenthood. So sit back, relax and let out a chuckle or two!
