From the time they are born, our kids are often read books that are full of beautiful and bright pictures. They seamlessly match our story telling and often enhance the experience for our kids, who can’t quite read yet. But writer and actor B.J. Novak is here to prove that a book doesn’t have to have pictures for our kids to love and enjoy reading. B.J. takes his new book, “The Book With No Pictures” to an elementary school to demonstrate his theory. He reads it out loud to students and you will see that he gets quite a rise out of them. There’s not a single picture to be seen! Check out this video!
This makes me want to go buy this book right now! Do you think B.J. would come read it to my daughter, because I think it wouldn’t be as good if I did! How about you- do you read books without pictures to your kids? Please let us know in our comments and list some of your go-to favorites!
